What issues should be noted in the daily maintenance of elevators?
【 Summary Description 】 An elevator is a special means of transportation, composed of complex safety electrical circuits and mechanical components. To strengthen the safety inspection and supervision of elevators and prevent accidents, The State Council promulgated the "Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment" in 2003, clearly stipulating that the installation and maintenance of elevators shall be carried out by elevator manufacturers or entrusted to installation units with installation qualifications.

Elevators should be maintained daily by the manufacturer or a professional company
1. An elevator is composed of two major parts: mechanical and electrical. If the elevator is not maintained on a daily basis, its safety cannot be guaranteed. If the elevator is not oiled when it needs to be oiled, it will cause wear and damage to the mechanical parts of the elevator, greatly shortening its service life and making it impossible to use the elevator normally.
2 During the operation of elevators, some elevator users, in order to cut costs and save money, hire temporary workers or unqualified companies to maintain and service the elevators. Once a safety problem occurs, it is even impossible to find the responsible unit. If the maintenance is carried out by the elevator manufacturer or a qualified professional company, on the one hand, the maintenance technology and quality are guaranteed; on the other hand, if any problem occurs, there will be someone responsible.
What issues should be noted in the daily maintenance of elevators
Mechanical components
1. The traction machine of an elevator requires lubrication with oil. There are two marks on the outer cover of the traction machine. Open the oil nozzle to check if the oil is in the middle of the two marks. If the oil is lower than the lower mark, it indicates that the traction machine should be oiled. If it is not oiled, the elevator will not be well lubricated during long-term operation, which may lead to the burnout of the elevator traction machine and the motor. After the elevator has been in operation for a long time, the oil should be replaced in a timely manner to keep the traction machine always clean and well lubricated.
2 Cleaning and lubrication of elevator car guide shoes. Everyone knows that the guide shoes run on the guide rails, and there are oil cups on the guide shoes. To prevent the elevator from making friction sounds during operation, it is necessary to regularly add oil to the oil cups and clean the guide shoes, and also to keep the car clean.
3 Maintenance of elevator hall doors and car doors. Elevator malfunctions usually occur on the elevator hall door and the car door, so attention should be paid to the maintenance of the hall door and the car door. First, add oil at the appropriate places on the upper sill frame of the door to maintain good lubrication. In this way, the elevator will not make unpleasant sounds during operation or when the door is opening. Pay attention to the inspection of the safety touch plates or light curtain type touch plate switch wires of the elevator. As the elevator door is opened and closed frequently, the switch wires may be damaged. Therefore, maintenance personnel must inspect them during each operation. Those that need to be replaced should be replaced in advance to prevent users from having doubts about the quality of the elevator products due to door problems.
Electrical components
Electrical components are roughly divided into control panels, electrical switches for each safety circuit, etc. It is the brain of the elevator and the central nervous system of the elevator. The start-up, operation and door opening and closing of the elevator are all controlled by it. Therefore, in daily maintenance work, it must be treated as the top priority. It is best not to short-circuit the elevator circuit within the control panel during work. When the elevator door system malfunctions, some people, for convenience, short-circuit the elevator door to locate the fault. This is very dangerous as short-circuit doors cause the most accidents. Why? If a person opens the door handle of the hall and extends it inside, and the elevator happens to be moving up or down to this point, but the hall door is short-circuited, the elevator cannot stop, and thus an accident is very likely to occur. Therefore, in our daily maintenance work, we must never short-circuit the safety circuit. If short-circuiting is necessary, we need to identify which safety component is faulty and which one needs to be short-circuited. Moreover, after maintenance or emergency repair, the short-circuiting wire must be removed promptly.
